Hornall Brothers Music Limited and Proper Songs Limited were founded on 29th April, 1996 by Stuart Hornall with the help of his wife Janie and daughter Zoë.

From their modest beginning in a small basement office they have grown to occupying a three story office block situated on the River Thames in Putney, London. To ensure their ability to accurately monitor their writers' royalty flows they have always invested in state of the art IT, backed up by a personal knowledge of the music industry that is second to none.

They now include amongst their clients some of the most successful writers working today such as Graham Lyle, Mark Knopfler, Paul Brady and Terry Britten. For a full listing of their current "stable", visit the "Writers" page.

For the curious,Hornall Brothers was so called because Stuart has a brother Alan who is also in the music business. However, Alan has no connection with the publishing company.
